Connie’s Quilters

The quilt group continues making and gifting lap quilts to friends of our community. In recent months, they have donated nine lap quilts to Virginia Gay Nursing and Rehab in Vinton, and nine also to the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Department in Independence. They continue to gift individual quilts to friends recently placing number 382. If you know of someone who would enjoy having a lap quilt, contact Connie Langrebe.

The “quilt ladies” thank everyone who donates fabrics to their cause and keeps them stitching. Within these stitches, you will see the bond that is shared by a group of gals who quilt.
